Fairytale Textile World by Mister Finch

Carpet moths and textile toadstools...

Hiding his name, the artist prefers to be called by his last name — Mr. Finch. In part, as he admits, this is so that no one doubts that it is a man who is behind the fluffy moths and tender mushrooms. He does not mind this "feminine occupation", Mr. Finch gives himself to sewing with all his heart. He experiments with the materials and themes of his works, makes absolutely miniature and huge copies, and is heartily happy when his sewn animal is ready and finds its name.

Mr. Finch lives in Leeds, Yorkshire, and his Studio is located there. Finch had tried many different things before finding himself in sewing, but nothing else had fascinated him so completely and so completely. The beautiful nature of Britain inspires him to cozy and quirky crafts-mushrooms on thin legs, fluffy moths, insects with long antennae, as well as mice and hares, as if descended from the pages of "Alice in Wonderland".
