Sculpt Gryphon Of Polymer Clay

"The Gryphon in Deuteronomy is mentioned among birds. The gloss says: the Gryphon has four legs, a head and wings like an eagle, and the rest of the body like a lion. The Gryphon lives in the Hyperborean mountains, and is very hostile to horses and humans. In its nest it puts an emerald stone against the poisonous beasts of these mountains," writes encyclopedist Bartholomaeus Anglicus.
Quite a colorful character, and it's a pleasure to do it :)

To work, you will need:

  • polymer clay;
  • wire and foil base;
  • modeling tools.

There are also many different ways of painting works made of polymer clay.
You can use acrylic and brushes, airbrush, paint baked clay and still raw.
In this video, I will show you how to paint a raw head with pastel before firing.
Tip: instead of pastels or in addition to it is possible to use a colored shadow for eyes. They give very beautiful effects on clay :)
