Paint Winter Landscape In Watercolor. Video Tutorial

In this video tutorial, I will show you step by step how to paint a winter landscape with watercolors.

We will need watercolor, brushes, watercolor paper or A4 paper, a rag or napkin, water. Beginners can use a simple pencil and an eraser to outline a drawing. If you want to dry your work faster, you can use a hair dryer.

The video shows step by step how to draw basic outlines, mix colors on the palette, how to paint the sky at dawn (wet), a forest in the background, a reflection in the river, how to draw trees, bushes and snow in the foreground.

When painting with watercolors, the paint should always be mixed with water. The role of white paint is played by paper. The more water we add, the lighter the paint.

In bright places, add warm shades (yellow, ochre, orange), in the shade, add cold colors (blue, purple, blue).

Thanks to the detailed explanations, parents can paint this picture with children.

It is very useful to periodically step back and look at your work, analyze whether you want to change something, add some detail or some color.

I wish you success in your work!
