In this tutorial I will tell you how to create a decorative lantern from cardboard with your own hands
(all items were made of cardboard, the dimensions indicated in the video).

I made an imitation of windows (4 pieces) and glued them together. Prepared 8 large pieces of cardboard and 8 small, glued together by 4 pieces.

With a knitting needle, I twisted a sheet of newspaper into a tube and shaped it with a wire.

I pasted over the entire base with paper napkins in order that when applying putty cardboard is not deformed. Putty on top.

I painted the lantern with an acrylic white paint. I dried it and emphasized corners and windows woth a black paint.

Paper napkin with floral print was used for windows. One window was made removable with a thin magnet. You can use a similar fridge magnet.

In conclusion, I added a lamp (light bulb) inside.
