Atypical Macrame: 20 Works By Canadian Artist Janis Ledwell-Hunt

I have already written about macrame in one of my articles, but it is simply impossible to put an end to this topic, because macrame causes a feeling of nostalgia and admiration, because it is beautiful not only in the finished version, but also during the entire process of creating a product. It is a real meditation! Many people start doing macrame for themselves, and then this hobby develops into a life-long business that fills life with new colors.

This path was taken by Janis Ledwell-Hunt from the city of Nanaimo in Canada. Despite the fact that Janis became engaged in macrame relatively recently – about a year ago – the artist could not resist the magic of macrame and settled in the creative business.

Now the needlewoman has her own shop UnfetteredCo, where her creations from recycled cotton are sold. Janis is madly passionate about her new occupation, not a day goes by without knots and threads.

Let a selection of 20 works by Janis charge you with creativity and good mood.

There are also quite unusual and even provocative works :)
