You will need Barbados yarn by Alize, Turkey. If desired, these leaves can be made of Tops, but it'll be more fuss.

Cut the yarn into pieces — we will need uncoiled parts.

Straighten each segment, giving the shape of a leaf.

Decorate at will with decorative fibers. In this case, we need a branch of "winter" rowan berries, I added white viscose.

Cover with a net, moisten with water, lather.

Felt until ready. Manually, or using special tools. At this stage, I cut the tails with scissors - but this can not be done, "tailed" leaves also look good.

Rinse, iron and engrain with solvitose (optional) the finished leaves.

Take wire, wire cutters, waxed cord.

Cut one leaf in half, fold it along, pierce the wiring. The length of the wire is twice as long as the conceived twig. We tie the waxed cord with a simple knot just above the wire fastening and begin to weave the cord as in macrame, closing the lower part of the sheet and the wire with knots.


When you wove a number of nodes, pierce with a wire in the middle of the next petal and continue to weave.

The first node under each subsequent leaf should be tightened as tightly as possible to the sheet gathered in a fold.

Continue weaving.


Until you gather a twig of the desired length.

Harvest the required number of leaves.

Add a handful of rowan berries.
