Vyatka Fashionista: 72-Year-Old Pensioner Chooses Outfits Beating the Young

Victor Kazakovtsev from Kirov proves by his own example: age is not a hindrance when there is optimism, imagination and a desire to surprise. Victor is over seventy, but you don`t have the heart to call him a "senior man", as each look of his is an indisputable evidence of young soul.

When Victor was 7 years old, his mother sewed him white shirt and black pants for a holiday. She also got black chrome boots — a rare thing in Soviet times. Little Victor dressed up and went to a store to buy bread. At the entrance to the store, he bumped into classmates-bullies: they looked at the boy meticulously and smashed his nose. Then Vitya decided to dress up always, so that they did not think that he was afraid.

Victor always had good voice and an excellent ear for music, so after graduating from the music school, the young man went to work to the Tuzha District House of Culture as a head of amateur art. There Victor played the accordion, accompanied for choir and dance ensemble. There he got engaged with costume for the first time: he helped to decorate performances, came up with such costumes, so that the audience could not but look at the scene.

After retirement, Victor did not give up stage. Now his stage is the whole city. He finds clothes for his incredible outfits in thrift stores, friends give him something to remake. Victor resews clothes himself, he also makes costumes accessories, for everything to match each other. Each outfit is unique — Victor doesn`t make copies.

Every day Victor goes for a walk, always in a new outfit. Locals nicknamed the pensioner "Vyatka Fashionista" — he is worth it :)
