Open-closed cuts. How to make it?

1. Cut your detail, which will be a decoration and open-cut. The length of the detail is equal to the length of the processed cut, choose any width you like.

2. Fold your decorative detail in half, with its back side inside, fold the outsize at the back side.

3. Apply decorative detail on the bent outsize from the back side, stitch.

4. Make double stitch with a sewing machine / hemming / coverstitch machine. Make sure one stitch catches bent outsize, and another stitch goes close to the bend of the decorative detail. Remove previous stitches and admire the result.
