Wonderful Landscapes by Rebecca Vincent

It often happens so that touching works by artist, who we liked, are far from textiles. But you can imagine such paintings in fabrics.

Such are etchings and monotypes by Rebecca Vincent.

"These miniature sketches are bare bones of landscape and seascapes I think about. Most of them turn into full-size monotypes, but some are discarded along the way. Each sketch is only about 5 cm square. Ideas come from walks, photos and drawings."

"My dirty palettes. I keep monotype printing ink in muffin molds! I've been using them continuously for about 5 years now and they're in a great state of art mess. It saves a huge amount of time, I don't have to mix colors from scratch every time I start to work".
