Dress by Worth House (France) 1890s by Alexander Vasiliev

We present you an outfit from collection by Alexander Vasiliev.
S. I. Belkin was a court supplier. Russia, Moscow. Worth fashion house, France, 1890s.
It has two parts: talma and skirt.

Talma (pelerine) with a high stand-up collar is made from ermine fur, trimmed with ermine tails. It is complemented by a clutch from the same fur, which is decorated with long-braided threads brushes.

The skirt is made from light green satin, the central insert is pearl. The skirt is decorated with satin stitch embroidery with threads and chenille.

The pattern is a flowering tree branch and flower bouquets. Geometric ornament of the central part is made with a cord lined with a decorative seam. Fringe on the bottom of the hem of the central part is made of beads and yarn with pearls at the end. The edges of the sides are decorated with repeating elements and lace, embroidered with beads and threads.
