Decorating Candles with Dried Flowers

We used to think that decoupage is just sticking any pattern to any surface. Simply put, the process of transferring a drawing from paper to a surface with a different texture by gluing it. This is certainly true. However, you can decoupage in another way, without using glue, paper or brush.

You will need:

1) candle;

2) dried flowers;

3) spoon;

4) one burning candle.

Step 1:

Heat a spoon with the flame of a candle.

Tip:

If you do not have an extra candle at hand, the spoon can be heated, for example, in a water bath or simply by dropping it into boiling water.

Step 2:

With the spoon, go along the candle surface, which you are going to decoupage. Wax heats up and melts.

Step 3:

On the melted wax place dried flowers.

Step 4:

Hold the hot spoon on top of the flowers. We need it to fix dried flowers on the surface of the candle.

Tip:

Using this technology, candles can be decorated with napkins and paper for decoupage.

So, spending little time, and without much effort, you get an unusual interior item, or an interesting gift for any occasion.
