Royal Ascot is a bright event not only for fans of horse races, but also for fashionistas from all over the world. The reason for this is a strict dress code: men should wear black or gray full-length suits, and ladies should be in dresses or skirts below the knee. Here even a band width has rules — of not less than three centimetres!

But of special attention are hats, mandatory for all. For men it is enough to wear ordinary black cylinder (spoiler: some use their imagination), for ladies a hat is a perfect opportunity to show uniqueness and boldness, without violating traditions.

The opening ceremony of the races in Ascot, Berkshire, always has members of the Royal family of the Great Britain. It is noteworthy that Elizabeth II acts here not only as an organizer and a guest of honor, but also as the owner of a racehorse. For more than 70-years` history of the participation, the Queen has won 23 races.

It is interesting that before the races the bets were accepted... for the color of the Queen`s hat. In 2019 as a result of "audience vote" a blue headdress won. They guessed it!
