In this video I will show how to make a paper chest with your hands in detail.

This time I twisted large tubes of magazine paper. I used two lengths of tubes, which is not wound at an angle.

For such a chest I needed a little more than one magazine. Therefore, it is important to use paper of the same size. I used spoke 3.5 o to wrap tubes around it.

After gluing all the details, I applied putty. It is necessary in order to make the box strong. I closed all the cracks and holes with it.

The handle and hinges are metal. I buy these parts in a DIY store. I glued with super glue and screwed the screws.

I painted the chest with two colors of acrylic paint. The lower layer is black, the upper layer is ocher. The finish layer is acrylic lacquer.

!! It is important to know that the chest will dry completely in about a week. So do not immediately load it with heavy things :)
