Beach week has started on Livemaster. Yes... really... Summer has already come, and, therefore, the theme of the sea and the beach has become relevant. We... women are looking forward to the beginning of the beach season and try hard to prepare for it. We stick to a diet, trying to lose weight. We are very sensitive of choosing a new swimsuit as it is this article of clothing that helps to make a splash.

Today I have made a selection in retro style... from beach fashion of the 1950s-60s.

In the 1950s there were several standards of beauty: ladies were with ample curves. Therefore, one-piece and two-piece swimsuits with high-waisted bottoms made women look better. Swimwear of the 1950s had very difficult styles and design. Relief lines, draperies, miscellaneous items...

But in the 1960s swimsuits became more open... it is possible to trace a tendency to nudity, they become more open and sexy.
