Almost Edible Inedible: Realistic Culinary Miniatures by Mayu Sekiguchi

Mayu Sekiguchi is an amazing "cook" from Japan. She creates incredibly realistic and mouth-watering dishes from polymer clay. Mayu is not afraid of complicated recipes: she has multi-layered sandwiches, fresh baguettes with filling, elegant cakes and all kinds of vegetable combinations. Her broth is always rich, the yolk looks tender and fresh, the ham is cut into the thinnest slices, and the textured crust of puff pastry tempts you to go to a real bakery. Even the cookies are darker from the bottom as it happens in real ovens.

Recently, the artist has released a guide to create baked things from polymer clay, so everyone will be able to implement a serious menu for a puppet cafe. Sometimes Mayu uses her miniature sweets to create "edible" jewels. Let's admire these tiny culinary masterpieces together and go have a snack :)

Delicious? :)
