Panel with Tropical Flowers, Embroidered with Luneville Hook by Chengyen Lee

Designer and artist Chengyen Lee from the island of Taiwan studied in the Lessage school of embroidery. His workshop — Atelier Chengyen LEE — is now located in Nantes, France. He has a new overlook of embroidery that has refreshed his works.
Chengyen Lee writes: "Art is a way to get education, it is also a qualification, and the ability to truly inspire! Art is based on our sensitivity and life experience, but also gives space for personal growth! For an artist, the main thing is to feel the world around him/her and show it as he/she sees it. You do not need to be educated in the full sense of the word."
One of large-scale embroidery panels at the moment is a panel with tropical flowers and birds — Le Grande Tableau de Fleurs et d'oiseaux. A sketch is reday and some parts are in process, so we can look at them.
