How to Make Imitation of Brocade for Decoupage

I present you a small tutorial "How to Make Imitation of Brocade for Decoupage." To do this, you need a printout of ornaments or background images on an ordinary office paper, made black and white with a laser printer. Here are the examples:

Also, transfer foil, for example, like this:

On the front side of the black and white printout do not place color (back, gray) side of the transfer foil.

Then cover the transfer foil with a simple sheet of office paper and iron. Please note that an iron must be without water and must be turned on to the mild mode (that is not 3, but for example, 2).

Remove the sheet of paper, and you get the adhesion of the transfer foil to the paper.

Remove the foil from the printout and get a shimmering pattern in the place where there was black ornament. When heated with an iron, the paint from the printer works as glue, so a colorful layer of the transfer foil sticks to it. You get this result.

Here is another color of foil — blue.

Also, gold foil. Please note, the first experience with gold foil was performed with an iron in the hottest mode, (number 3). In this case, the foil is glued not only to the black pattern, but also to the white background, which is not good.

The second part — at the average temperature of the iron (2).

This printout can be used in the design of boxes in the palace style with rhinestone and ribbons.
