Today I want to show you how I prepare flowers for lilacs.

You will need:

• ribbon 1 cm, 1.2 cm, 0.6 cm wide;
• silk thread, matching the ribbon;
• lighter;
• ruler;
• scissors.

Cut the ribbon 7 cm long.

Burn the edges of the ribbon with a lighter.

Fold the tape in half and again in half.

Now lay the line:

Start from the ribbon edge and move from down to up.

Next, lay the line on the top to fold.

Next, lay the line to the bottom of the fold, come back to lay the line up and so on to the end of the ribbon.

Now pull together the line and distribute the petals.

Join the petals with bartacking stitches.

The flower is ready.

The number of flowers depends on how lush you want the brush to be.
