Annees 50 Pattern for Lesage Embroidery School in Paris

Here is another pattern — Annees 50, which is taught at the Ecole Lesage School in Paris.

Very delicate, fragile and refined pattern is a composition of pink flowers and the background to it. The shape of the pattern is square. Embroidery is performed with threads, sequins, beads, bugles, and pearls. The following variety of sequins is presented on embroidery: round, rectangular metal, in the form of faceted cups, corrugated petals and drops!

Lovely volume roses are made of silk and ruched mesh, the middle is adorned with faceted gems and embroidered with bugle and beads. Another way of making flowers — with petals of the gathered mesh, embroidered with sequins. They are complemented in the center by a rolled silver ribbon, forming air petals, which are fastened in the center of the pearl.

The petals of another kind of flowers are made of chain stitches of beads, in the middle of which the pearl and bugle beads are made as stamens. The contours of the leaves are embroidered with glass beads, sequins and satin stitch. It is the combination of different materials, textures and colors that gives birth to Lesage magic!
