Beach Holidays in Jungle: Landscape Embroidery by Fenny Suter

Fenny Suter has been engaged in embroidery since the age of 9. She has tried many directions, studied different schools and went through all kinds of training. For Fenny, embroidery is a meditative activity that allows to capture beautiful moments of life. Previously, the artist loved to portray the comfort of home, with cats and soft chairs, but her current hobby — landscape needle punch embroidery. A whole series of works is devoted to bathers, enjoying the rest in small ponds, lost in the dense thickets of tropical greenery.

Fenny shares very interesting thoughts about her periods of work. On the one hand, it is important for an artist to be successful — to pay bills, to allow himself/herself a vacation, to maintain family. "It is difficult to tell your parents that you are going to become an artist, but it is quite different to tell them that you do it for your living. This is one of the most pleasant feelings!" Do you agree that it is close to many of us? But on the other hand, you should not be afraid to go beyond the earnings that brought you this success. Therefore, Fenny does not want to stay long on landscape embroidery and plans to express all her various hobbies and personality in her works. While the artist is still embroidering a beach holiday, we may catch the moment and enjoy these unusual works:
