Leigh Anna Newell was born in Alabama in 1979. She describes herself simply, "Artist. Wife. Mother". Anna is a contemplator in spirit, she carefully preserves her impressions of the surrounding landscapes, including the views from the window, and then creates picturesque miniatures, impregnated with a special atmosphere and mood.

Anna tells how she came to this tiny style in an interesting way. For many years she had been attending art schools, and all of them had one requirement — large albums of A4 or A3. These huge, according to the artist, empty sheets made her terribly nervous. The search for her own, right format took her a long time, but when Anna realized what she needed, it was like coming back home. Together with friends, the artist created a set of tools specifically for miniature drawing, which are convenient to take in trips — besides, she is particularly fascinated by nature.
