Akiya Kageichi is a Japanese illustrator who creates graphic, filled with images works. His sinister jesters, lazy rulers and secret warriors are full of chaotic symbols. Each character is a world full of mysteries and secrets. Frequent image of the Moon hints that there are mysterious forces of dark nights. The paintings are metamorphic, dynamic and active scenes, unfold on one plane, reveal hidden underground worlds and a secret future in which witchcraft and magic pull strings and reign over the real world. Many paintings give rise to different stories in imagination, while looking at them, people plunge into the world of mystical tales.

I fell in love with the work by this artist at first sight! I especially want to note the dynamics of the work. Of special interest is how an artist builds composition, and how small details, fabrics, patterns are formed into a holistic, harmonious work. These works are incomparable!
