In this video, I will show you how to make a box with a lid of newspaper tubes.

Such a box can be used as a gift or to store all sorts of necessities in it.

I used magazine paper, these tubes are stronger.

I twisting them with a skewer, not at an angle.

Specifying the dimensions in the video, I showed the principle of how to twist the tubes of the desired size, so that not to cut them.

The main parts are the bottom and the lid. They should be of the same size.

Glued parts can also be edited to the width. You may cut off a few tubes if you need to shorten it. If you need to make it a few millimeters wider — slightly flatten the tube.

I painted it with acrylic paint. After painting something went wrong :) the lid was no longer easy to open. Probably because I applied a thick coat of paint. It was no longer possible to shorten the cover in width.
