Main Flower Festival of the Year! Part 2

Dear ladies and gentlemen, here is a night series of photographs of a stunning Flower Festival.

It takes place in the north of Thailand, in Chiang Mai from 2519, so it is 43 Festival.

Who has already counted? :)

Right, now we have the year 2562 according to the lunar calendar.

_

The same sign, but for guests. In English.

_

Do you love lilies as much as I do?

I hope so.

__

I have never seen such a glade of lilies as this year!

Have a look!

__

The smell was even on the road outside the Park...

Actually, that's how we found them.

_

On the other side of the entrance to the Park — rural landscape.
Thatched roofs in Thailand is a normal phenomenon.

Well, they are not durable but protect from sun and rain perfectly.

A year later, you can make a new one.

__

Behind the hut — the distance and beauty.

How do you like the idea — to print the landscape and continue it with fresh flowers?

__

Orchids in Thailand are great!

But, to tell the truth, my eyes got accustomed to them.

__

But tulips here are really exotic!

You cannot find them in local flower markets and in stores...

Maybe because they're hot in here.

__

"The horned goat is coming"...

I'm talking about the Asian tradition of folding fingers when they're photographed.

I wonder where it came from?

_

Flower elephants at night look even more surreal than during the day.

_

It's just a fairy tale...

The organizers made a gazebo with walls of lights.

I will not even comment, have a look at it.

__

Pay attention to clothes of beauties.

Someone in a modern T-shirt, someone in the Chinese traditional dress (lady in red).

_

The girl in the photo below adapted traditional Thai style and modernity.

Skirt made of homespun cloth, two silver bracelets, one made of round beads, most likely homemade.

To this rag handbag with owls, which can be found in any market, and a black blouse.

All together it looks great!

__

This is one more proof how tenderly the Thais treat the national things.

Dolls in costumes of northern tribes, with a distinctive silver jewellery.

__

A woman in national dress is taking a selfie.

I take a picture of her secretely...

I couldn't pass by jewellery — professional deformation

__

The girls squatted in a flower bed. The question is - who is luckier?

The girls, who will get cool pictures, or photographers, who have such charming models?

__

A man in a red T-shirt with a frightened pig at the exit of the Park.

Gold and red — symbolize the Chinese New Year.

___

It's great that girls play ordinary games and not smarphones.

___

I couldn`t pass by these pseudo-sellers...

__

According to a tradition, every year holds exhibition or contest of bonsai.

A whole forest of "adult trees".

___

What made us think it was a competition? Because of the numbers on the trees.

___

This year I also found compositions of cacti and succulents.

Ideal plants for a bachelor apartment

___

Here you can buy a pot with a bear.

___

Or an owl for the smartest. Or a sheep.

___

But we're looking for orchids to buy.

Yes, it is not simple, and that delicious smell of night. It's a tricky one, thank you, knowledgeable sales help.

___

Third day of the festival, closing soon.

The salesman's uncle was tired...

___

And the guard was tired, too.

Only guests of the festival are not tired and take pictures!

The temple, completely assembled from flowers.

___

...and surprised

(will you find the most surprised girl in the world?)

Again our "favorite" Thai Pink.

... even the wheels are with flowers.

_

The size of the monkey is that great, so when passing in the direction of the Park, I did not understand what kind of orange mountain it was.

__

Behind "monkey mountain" there is a schoolgirl of ten years and sings the Beatles :)

___

Not far from it, there is the ritual of washing the Buddha.

Both young and old pour water on the right shoulder... or where they reach.

__

In Chiang Mai can be found wonderful, the most unexpected combinations.

Guy in a tattoo with a white cat in his arms.

___

Or a cat in a bag.

__

I have almost forgot!

In the first part of the story I promised to show a closer mannequin with a skirt of flowers and a handbag made of pure silver.

Beauty stood at the entrance to our favorite store.

One Tambon One Product (OTOP) is translated as "one province — one product".

This means that in each province/village in such a store only original goods produced here are sold.

Whether it's food, cosmetics, clothing or, as here, silver jewellery.

Friends, thank you for reading this article :)

Here is a bonus video of flower parade of Chiang Mai.
