Making Сut Eyelet for Medium Thick Fabrics

Beautiful smooth loops made by hand will add uniqueness to your clothes and show a high degree of your professionalism.

Mark the loops. 6...8...9 cm distance between them. Place eye loops in the middle of the front, i.e. the middle of the front in the direction of the edge of the side loop goes to the size of the eye.

Loops are horizontal their length is equal to the diameter of a button.

Buttonstand and substantive detail should be sewn together for fabric layers not to move and for the loop not to get deformed.

Sew the loop 1 mm around the marks on the sewing machine with a minimum stitch to secure the edge of the loop. When sewing the eye, it is better to turn the flywheel by hand.

Make the eye with a pin or cut it out. Cut the loop to the middle. With scissors, make a smooth transition from the eye to the horizontal section. Cut the excess (spilled) thread.

Sweep the loop from the front, from left to right. The distance between the needle punctures is equal to the thickness of the thread. When performing a stitch, pull the thread with the same effort from you. Make sure that the resulting number of knots in the section of the loop was shifted to the front.

When fixing, do 3-4 stitches to one puncture perpendicular to the loop. After sweeping the buttonhole, weave the loop with short cross stitches. The shorter the cross stitches are, the better the fastening.

The thread is fixed from the inside, hide between layers of fabric and cut.

Buttons on the leg look best with these types of loops.

And now a few rules to calm down:
1. If you have never done manual loops, then adjust that you will like only, at best, 20-30d result of your work.
2. A 100 loop will be the best.
3. Even if you are already an experienced person, be sure to make a trial loop on the sample.
4. But the result is worth it!
