I present you a tutorial on how to create a cosmetic bags, but not a usual one, in the form of a hare.

You will need the following:

• fabric of several colors for the front of the cosmetic bag;
• lining fabric;
• interlining;
• zipper;
• threads for embroidery;
• vanishing fabric marker;
• zig-zag scissors;
• sewing machine.

When printing a pattern, set the printer settings to the "actual (real) size". The pattern is attached to the tutorial.

The size of the finished cosmetic bag is 19*11 cm.

Start with hare ears. Make 4 parts of ears. Sew together 2 parts. Cut the edges with zig-zag scissors, turn out and iron.

Go to the outer part of cosmetic bag.

Apply a thin adhesive interlining on the fabric chosen for the outer part of the cosmetic bag on the reverse side.

According to the given pattern, cut out all the details, with 5 mm outsize on all sides .

Here are the details of the front part of the cosmetic bag.

Details of the back part of the bag.

Begin to sew the details of the outer part of the cosmetic bag with the muzzle and ears of the hare.

Pin and sew the ears to the detail - muzzle, as shown in the photo.

Join the detail of the muzzle with ears with the upper part, sew, turn out and iron.

To the resulting detail sew the side parts to both sides, turn out and iron. Lay a finish line along the side seams.

In the same sequence, sew the details of the back of the cosmetic bag, iron and lay a finish line along the seams.

With vanishing fabric marker, draw eyes, nose, mouth and cheeks on the details of the muzzle.

On the drawn lines, embroider the face of a rabbit with a running stitch.

From the fabric chosen for the lining, cut out 2 parts of size 19.5*12.5 cm.

Apply the zipper face to the front of the main part, joining the zipper tape with the cut of the part. Pin the zipper.

Apply the lining with front side to the zipper, pin all three parts (the main part of the bag, zipper, and lining) and sew.

The zipper is stitched between the main part and the lining part.

Iron the parts in one direction.

In the same way, sew the back part of the bag, iron the second part of the zipper, lining detail.

Put the front part of the cosmetic bag face down on the back part, the lining parts will also turn out folded face to each other. Pin the zipper, so that the teeth are between the front and back of the cosmetic bag. And the zipper tape is between the lining parts.

Pin the details on the perimeter.

Sew on the perimeter, leaving the bottom lining hole 5-6 cm long for turning out .

On the outer and inner parts of the cosmetic bag, draw 2 cm squares in the corners.

Draw the same squares with a side of 2 cm on both parts of the lining (on both sides).

Make a line diagonally across all four squares, making bartack at the beginning and end of the line.

Cut off the corners from all four corners, retreating 5 mm from the laid line.

Turn out the cosmetic bag through the hole in the bottom of the lining.

Sew a hole in the bottom of the lining, retreating 2 mm from the edge.

Put the lining inside the cosmetic bag. We're done! The cosmetic bag is ready :)

Optionally, the bag can be decorated with a tail. The tail of my makeup bag is a pompon.
