Surfing the Internet, I found a handmade insect of unusual materials. I got interested and began to look for information. That's what I found and I want to share it with you.

The English artist and sculptor Julie Alice Chappel came up with an idea of using old boards to bring beauty to this world and protect the ecology of planet Earth. She makes cute bugs, butterflies and other insects of the components of old electronics.

It all started a few years ago, when Julie came across a box with old electronic boards. She remembers that they reminded her of ants. The artist brought them home and together with children they made a lot of insects. This case was forgotten, but two years later she again found the "electronic treasure", and Julie had the idea to constantly make such insects.

Now the artist's works are sold in a special online store and delight people from many countries of the world.
