Today I will show you how to sew a brooch of fabric

We will need:

  • 2 circles of fabric with a diameter of 5 cm;
  • 1 piece of fabric — 5x23 cm;
  • 2 circles of cardboard with a diameter of 3 cm;
  • a wooden button (or any other button);
  • a pin for brooches;
  • glue.

Let's start:

1. Put some glue on the cardboard and glue to the back side of the fabric circle.

2. Take a needle and thread, make a running stitch.

3. Tighten and fasten the thread.

4. Sew a button to one circle, and a pin to the other one.

5. Take a large piece and stitch on a sewing machine the lower side with a seam allowance of 1 cm.

6. Fold in half and iron.

7. Set a weak upper thread tension and the 5 mm stitch length, make two parallel lines at the bottom edge.

8. Begin to pull the bottom threads, we make an "accordion".

10. Straighten in a circle and iron.

11. Put the button and the pin on both sides and stitch through with hands.
