I love animals and always enjoy looking at funny, sometimes tragic photos of these lovely creatures. In my opinion, they are able to calm down, cheer up and just please the eye.
Recently, while browsing the Internet, I came across the amazing photographer Robert Bahou, he makes portraits of animals trying to capture their character and emotion.

Robert was born in Amman (Jordan), he spent his childhood surrounded by dogs and other animals. He often imagined what they were thinking. According to him, it helps him to take such photos.

He believes that animals do not understand what a camera is, so when they look into the lens, they do not pose. As a result, they do not adjust the expression, posture, appearance — they are what they are!

Now, in addition to the photos, Robert also wrote the book "Animal Soul", which describes mainly cats and dogs, where the author tries to tell about the inner world of our pets.
