I remembered my life in Moscow on Novy Arbat. An old house which was very beautiful from the outside and imbued with odors of communal apartments inside, pre-revolutionary, or as they say, historical. The center of the capital. Wide window sills, sitting on them you could look at the ruby stars of the Kremlin. Rare gleams of the sky's normal blue color because of the constantly hanging smog. And the only wish — a tall green tree by the window, above the window. Above the cracked asphalt. Above the smog. It was the beginning of the 90s. Now this house is gone. It was demolished. Long time ago. But looking at the beautiful pictures of panoramic windows which show spectacular views, for some reason I remember this mad desire — a tree under the window.

Scientists estimated that a view from the window prolongs a person's life, on average, for 3-5 years.

The way of thinking and our actions also depend on the height of the building where the person is. The space above the head affects the brain's ability to process information and psychological state of the person.

The height of the ceiling may influence the sense of vision. In the house or apartment with high ceilings the lighting is located at a level at which the light is more diffused and reflected. That is why in these areas nervous system relaxes, which by the way, is important in our high-speed time.

Urban architecture also affects the behavior of people and their psyche. Some buildings provoke stress and aggression, and others charge with positive energy and a desire to create. Unfortunately, psychological aspects of architecture and urban planning are not thoroughly considered by the developers for large-scale mass construction.

Another interesting conclusion reached by scientists — houses with curved forms evoke in people a sense of security and safety.

Well, for people whose greater part of life is creativity, high ceilings, panoramic windows with views that you want to admire in any season and in any light are a constant source of inspiration, imagination and, consequently, creation of such masterpieces because of which your heart stops.

Hotels, business centers, builders of luxury homes fight for beautiful panoramic views. A clear example of this desire can be seen by travelers.
