Baroque Entrance: a Unique Creation of the Pensioner Vladimir Chaika

Going to the entrance of an ordinary house, the last thing you'd expect to see is a gorgeous painting and stucco in the Baroque style. Residents of one of these houses of Kiev are lucky: the grandfather and pensioner Vladimir Chaika spent as much as 15 years to turn the staircase into a work of art. Vladimir himself is a historian by education. Most of all he is fascinated by the period of the 16-18 centuries, and that is reflected in his works. The walls of the house that are decorated with a stunning stucco work boast of luxury reproductions of ladies — even Mona Lisa found a place! The grandfather admits that he feels a special pride for the result of the alteration of the garbage disposal: some of the neighbors even hesitate to use a newly made classic column on purpose.

Today only three floors of nine are ready. Let's hope that the master will be able to complete his fantastic work.
