Remake of a Hat

Sometimes there are abnormal activity, magnetic storms, Moon turns back to Saturn... Somehow you buy a thing that you will wear just once (trying it on in a store), and then you find 1000 and 1 reason why you can't take it back or release into the wild the same day. So it was with this hat.

After a couple of years, I made an arbitrary decision — to remake (plan B is to throw it out, if the result is particularly awful). I dismissed the seam on the top (I put the threads in a neat pile next to me not to suffer from the selection of tone in the future).

At the time of purchasing, my eyes didn't go with me to the store, because the hat was defected.

I reworked the defect with a crochet needle.

Next, stitched with a desired shape (oh yeah, I forgot to say — I made a baby hat with ears of it),

cut the excess and make a hem.

On the front side I sewed the ears and a fold through which I passed a soft elastic.

And as this was a hat for a girl I embroidered it with beads.
