New Year is right around the corner and it is time to think about gifts! Every year my son and I sculp the symbol of the coming year to give it to our relatives and friends.
I suggest you to sculpt with me a pig of salt dough — the symbol of 2019!
This kind of work can be done by a 6-year-old child, as the toy is sculpted of simple shapes.
For the work you will need to make salt dough.
I suggest a simple and proven recipe of salt dough.
Mix 1 cup of fine salt and 2 cups of flour in a bowl.
Gradually add almost a full glass of water and knead dough. The dough should be thick and it should not stick to hands.
You can paint prepared dough with gouache paints and sculp of painted dough.
