A Christmas garland of paper made in origami technique can be made not only for New year or Christmas, but also for the child's birthday or just to decorate a room for any holiday, besides it's a bright and easy decoration for any holiday.

New Year will come soon and it is high time to decorate our apartments and houses!

A Christmas garland is a great decoration that is easy to make, but it fantastically transforms any interior and creates a festive atmosphere!

A garland made of paper is quite simple and we can use any paper, each module is assembled from a square sheet, in our DIY we used squares with a size of 8*8 cm. Size and color is of your choice, as well as the color of the paper.

A finished garland looks very interesting and its unquestionable advantage is that it can be made by absolutely everyone, including kids. Everybody has paper at home and it is easy to find a material for making a colourful garland. Of course, it is easier to buy a garland, but creative people won't do that.

To make our garland we will use an origami technique — it is very fun and simple!
