Select the shadow area for shooting, move the subject away from the background and make the shot. Properly structured light makes wonders, especially if we are talking about shooting clothing and fabrics. A good example from Elena Ashurkova: "To emphasize the grain, set a side light; to smooth out the disadvantages set a direct perpendicular light."

Tip 13

White balance — another important point which determines the correct transmission of color. "To make an ideal white balance in your photo, place something pure white in a photo. So you will get a standard, which will help with working with photo editors," — recommends Elena Ashurkova. Using this method, you will also show your buyers how the work looks in different lighting.

Tip 14

"To avoid dense shadows use a diffuse filter: wrap the window of the flash with white masking tape or a white package. The surface of the object will be evenly and softly lighted and it won't reflect the bright light source," — recommends Marina Nikitina.
