Fine Embroidery Designs by the Saint Clare Atelier

Atelier Saint Clare in Cheshire (England) was founded by Stephanie Bonneau, the senior designer and a teacher of embroidery. Born in France, Stephanie always wanted to be an embroiderer and she understood her passion for embroidering after school.
Throughout her career Stephanie Bonneau worked at prestigious embroidery houses in Paris, such as Atelier Lesage, Henry Cecil Atelier, Atelier Hurel. She embroidered with beads and made tambour embroidery for various collections, including Chanel, Christian Dior, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Armani, Givenchy and Balenciaga.
After moving to England Stephanie Bonneau worked at Hand&Lock, where she soon became one of the main embroiderers and the manager of the team that was making custom embroidery. When she worked with Hand&Lock, Stephanie Bonneau presented her embroideries on the jubilee celebrations of Her Majesty and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Other projects have included work on projects for Rolls Rolls and for the artist Gilbert&George, Vera Wang, Stella McCartney, Burberry, Swarovski, and many others.
Now Stephanie Bonneau lives in Cheshire, where she founded her own Saint Clare embroidery atelier with an embroidery school. She teaches gold embroidery, Luneville embroidery, damask silk embroidery and combination of these techniques.
