Modern Interpretation of Art Nouveau

In the summer I was lucky enough to visit Gdansk, a wonderful Polish city near the Baltic sea. The whole city centre was devoted to the St. Dominic's Fair, where I met the amazing jewelry of Slawomir Chmielewski. Mr. Chmielewski uses not only various semi-precious stones, but also things from the Baltic sea. First of all, it is amber and shells, ammonites, water-worn pieces of wood. And, as many friends of the artist think, his model is his wife!

Admire these beautiful works, inspired, in the words of the artisan himself, by the creations of Gustav Klimt and Alphonse Mucha. It seems to me that these famous artists would be happy with such a follower!

Pleasant viewing!
