The archetype of a warrior woman is always evident in the looks of Alexander Mcqueen designers. This new spring collection which was the final show of the sixth's day of Paris Fashion Week is no exception. Sarah Burton, the creative director of the brand, calls her collection a women's journey. It is about the journey of women's life: birth, death, marriage, sisterhood, community involvement and realization that a woman can be strong in expressing her emotions.
Designers took inspiration from embroideries of the eighteenth century and unexpected vintage findings, such as vintage outfit for baptism. The collection combines smooth and romantic, semi-sheer dresses and floral patterns with intransigence of leather belts, sharp lines and big dramatic jewelry.
