We all worn a mask of a kitten or a bunny at the Christmas party in our childhood. It turns out that there are animal masks that have become iconic in the fashion world, they are used in photo shoots, theatrical productions, movies, weddings and other important celebrations.

Animalesque brand was founded in 2012 by a London-based artist and fabrics designer Sarah Lowes. Craftsmen manually create unusual and elaborate headdresses drawing inspiration from mysterious relationship between man and animal represented by rituals, traditional costumes and ancient dances. The masks are made of fabrics which Sarah found during her journeys, of theatrical costumes and old clothes. The value of history behind every mask is an important part of the philosophy of the brand.

The weddings in which brides and the grooms wore masks from Animalesque got on pages of fashion magazines. It is hard to surprise someone by unusual wedding dresses, but headdresses in the form of animals create truly unique looks, and children in such outfits look extremely harmonious.
