Unique Underwater Baroque Photos by Lee Rogers Christy

Christy Lee Rogers is a conceptual artist and a self-taught photographer originally from a small coastal town in Hawaii. She grew up in a creative family of musicians and got an education in the field of cinema. Since her childhood water has been her native element and an endless source of inspiration. Christie Lee has developed her unique visual style by shooting people floating under water in flowing robes. These photos resemble paintings of the Baroque era, connoisseurs see colors of Titian in them, silhouettes of Rubens and light and shade of Caravaggio. Christie developed all the methods and techniques for achieving this effect by herself by trial and error.

Author's exhibitions are held worldwide, her photos were featured in international magazines and used as covers for several music albums.
