Kid's DIY Project: Making a Pencil Jar Owl with an Owlet

I want to show you a DIY project on creating a pencil holder Owl with an Owlet using cardboard sleeves. This pencil holder can be made with your child and for child.
You need:

1. Coloured paper, coloured cardboard, corrugated cardboard.

2. Glue stick and Moment glue.

3. A simple pencil.

4. Scissors.

5. Double-sided sticky tape.

6. Three cardboard sleeves.

7. A little synthetic stuffing.

8. Toy eyes.

Make templates and blanks. Cut off 2 trees and 14 leaves.

Cut out blanks for the owl:

And blanks for the owlet:

The base:

The tree is cut out of corrugated cardboard:

Such colours you need for the owls:

Start glueing the details to each other:

Take the sleeves:

Add the bottom:

And wrap them in the paper:

This is how you make a tree:

Insert the trunks:

Now glue the owl with the owlet to the tree:

That's all! The pencil holder is ready!
