Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad has presented his new Resort Collection 2019 in Paris. The collection is a pleasant discovery: Zuhair, known for (sometimes too much) flirty clothes, turned towards elegant and even rigorous options.

His collection still has the air of romanticism, uses gorgeous traditional embroidery, lace, subtle nautical style; you will see bold outfits with bulky shoulders as if from the 1980s.

Impeccable feminine silhouettes seem to have stolen the apparel of exotic butterflies. Such patterns are a reference to famous paintings by Paul Gauguin of the Tahitian period with bright shades of ochre, deep blue and soft pink contrasting with the dense black and white.

The collection demonstrates 53 outfits, I have selected 33 most interesting pieces. A black-and-white jumpsuit is my personal top pick! :)
