Summer Boho Clothing Trends

The word 'boho' comes from the name of a region on the territory of the Czech Republic inhabited by Gypsies in the Middle Ages — 'the Bohemians', the residents of Bohemia. In the nineteenth century, the 'Gypsy' lifestyle was borrowed by people from the creative environment — personalities from the theatrical, literary and artistic circles. Bohemians prefered a life free from religious and moral rules. The main features of the style follow: extravagance, expression, certain marginality, a mixture and combination of disparate elements and, especially, 'freedom, truth and love' resulted in bright colours, layering, variety of textures, abundance of jewelry and accessories, ethnic motifs, authentic ornaments, natural materials, light and flowing fabrics.
