Video DIY: Drawing a Field of Flowers with Dry Pastel

Today I share a video with this summer landscape. Flower field with poppies and daisies in the mountains.
According to the laws of the Aerial Perspective, a landscape can be divided into 3 plans:
* First
* Second
* Background
The Aerial Perspective is characterized by the disappearance of sharpness and clarity of an objects' outlines at the distance. It is caused by the change of tones, so it can also be called a Tonal Perspective.
The closer to the first plan, the brighter the colours. Distant objects are blurry and lighter than the foreground — because of the air masses between our and faraway objects.
I work in a sketchy technique — expressive brushstrokes and generalized forms.
Нou can see the whole process in the detailed video tutorial:

Materials:
* Rembrandt dry pastel 120
* pastel pencils
* sandpaper 1000

Pleasant viewing!
