  • Category: DIYs
  • Practices: Weaving

I represent the process of creating Clover brooch to your attention.

Materials:

1. Silk Shibori ribbon.

2. Golden Rivoli, 14 mm.

3. Felt, thread (dense, but very thin), a small hoop.

4. Seed beads, any you like. I used Czech seed beads and Japanese Miyuki, Delica, and Toho.

5. Light green, golden tube beads (Toho).

Nothing seems to be forgotten! Let's start :)

First, draw a cloverleaf on green felt.

Fix felt in the hoop to carefully sew the shibori ribbon to felt.

Sew the ribbon and decorate the edge:

Embroider the edge, I used size 15:

Sew the Rivoli round. I picked 36 Delica beads, made a ring picking beads through one. Then added two more rows:

Insert the crystal. Add one more row from the backside:

And sew the Rivoli at each bead, Add some more decorative element:

Use your imagination, trust in your flights of fancy:

Fill the empty spaces:

Cut out the clover.

Glue it to a thick fabric and to a piece of leather:

Add a brooch pin in advance.

Glue:

I used Golden Czech seed beads to treat the edge.

Ready!
