Creative ideas are often based on nature itself. Some people admire the sky, sunsets and sunrises, others love the splendour of flowers and plants, sea waves... and some artists use all these in their creative works like sculptor Tony Fredriksson.

He used to work with bronze but now he's into driftwood and twigs, uses wood of embarrassing shapes. 'Sculptures occur spontaneously. It's easier to start them rather than to finish, but if inspiration comes, I can work even without food and sleep. The feeling is almost like a drug', says Tony. The author anxiously wants to reveal the features of the material, so it is very important to find the right shape, size, texture and colour.
