Today I want to make a jewellery in the hippie-boho-tribal style out of scrap shards, in other words, recycle pieces of old glass and clay.

You need:

• various shards
• tools — pliers, round nose pliers
• engraver
• drill (you can do without it)
• copper sheet
• copper wire
• beads
• stick
• gas burner
• solder
• all sorts of things like cloth and citric acid

Everyone knows in our house that no piece can be thrown away without showing it to mom (me). As a result, I'm a Shard Magnate now :)

Pieces of glass bottles.

The most valuable and rare bottle glass is blue. It almost can't be found in natural conditions (in the parks and on the streets).

Fragments of all sorts of vases and beautiful containers absolutely do not fit because they're painted only from the right side.

And I also have fragments of coconut. I'll use it this time as well.

Polish the edges, put on your glasses!

Take a small engraver and a drill with diamond coating:

Make such texture:

Polish it with a gross rubber put on a larger engraver:

For comparison with real sea glass:

Use the little engraver to apply primitive patterns on the coconut pieces:

I decided to make it all more ethnic and added sticks:

Drill two holes at the ends:

Make a composition:

I decided that the compositions lack such a copper piece with an inscription:

Insert and wrap a piece of wire.

Drill 3 more holes and add stones:

Assemble all the pieces using your copper wire and chains:

Some more recycled ornaments.

And this piece of jewellery is made out of metal washers:

The central element is a broken (still feel pity) IKEA vase.
