I had a couple of old dark metal wall lights.

But I needed light furniture to match the new design of my flat.

The way out was to paint them!

Materials I used:

• acrylic paint
• silver acrylic paint

First, cover the parts with screws to make them smooth.

Make white paint of the desired colour, I added some light grey.

Cover the light with three layers to reach the even colour. Each layer is dried for 6 hours.

Touch the places that will be illuminated with light strokes of a pearl colour.

To emphasize the shape of the wall light, make a slightly darker paint, apply it, wait for a while and wipe off — thus, the paint remains in the grooves.

Decorate the entire surface of the light this way.

The wall light is ready. It perfectly harmonises with the furniture in colour and style.
