Building a Cat's House at Home

Once upon a time, there was a fluffy cat at home. And she wanted her personal house. Today I'll tell you how anyone can make it :)

You need:

  • a small piece of linen cloth
  • synthetic padding
  • two small cuts of plywood 8 mm thickness
  • corrugated cardboard
  • paper tubes of different diameter
  • jute cord
  • PVA glue
  • corners
  • bolts and screws

Cut out the bases and make 18 sticks:

Make marks, drill them through and pull the fabric over. Insert the sticks:

Put on the second base and start twining the sticks with the jute cord:

The top 'nest' has just been made.

Now proceed to the 'ground floor'.

Cut out a larger base, it's out of plywood. Attach three cylinders:

I glued the plywood blank with a soft artificial grass — kitties liked it :)

The two shorter cylinders are twisted with jute cord also, they'll be the pillars holding the 'nest'.

Make a cut — it'll be the third pillar of the 'nest'.

Fasten a plywood shelf at the top:

And wrap the pillars with the jute twine:

Voila! :)

I hope you'll use the project for your favourite pets :)

I thank you all in advance for likes!

Best wishes,
Julia
