I offer you to crochet a Christmas toy of jute twine.

So, you need:

• Jute twine
• Hook №3.5
• Scissors
• Holofayber or other filler.
• Linen lace and a button or bead for decoration.

A couple of tips for choosing jute:

1. It should be twine from jute labeled '2-thread' and density 2х560. It is softer, is not too fluffy.
2. When choosing, pay attention to colour. If you want to dye cord, use Jeans paint or stain for wood.

First crochet two circles — the heart of a star.

Crochet chains into a ring.

Method 2
Pick 2 chains and crochet in the center of the first loop.

Pick out a chain from the middle and knit 6 double crochets in the ring.

Go on according to the scheme. The last row should have 25 double crochets.

Fix the last loop, crochet the second blank.

Now crochet the rays. Take one blank and make 6 double crochets. Take the second blank and crochet another 6 double crochets. Close the row in a circle and here's what you get:

This is the base of a ray. Go on:
